Supported by NBW or the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen, the TFCE is an annual one-day tour through the scenic coastal shoreline, forests and marshlands of southeastern Rhode Island and Massachusetts. (from the NBW website) Approximately 2000 people participate in the event annually. There are 4 routes that you may choose from: 30mi, 54mi, 69mi, and 101mi.
I participated in the 101 mile event, which had 3881 feet of incline and 6 hours and 28 minutes of ride time. 3 feed zones during the ride provided drinks and food, which helped a lot. Participants received refrigerator magnets and t-shirts after they arrived starting point.
